Why don't animals wear spectacles?
All animals do not have perfect vision nor do they see the world exactly as we do. Each animal species has developed eyes suited to its environment. Animals are also subjected to some sort of vision related problems including diseases or accidents. Animals who are pets or are in a zoo, are looked after by vets.
Dogs are known to get 'cataract' in their old age. This is a condition in which the eye lens gets cloudy causing partial blindness. However artificial aids like spectacles would be cumbersome and awkward for animals. Try making your dog wear a cap and you'll know why.
